Noam Chomsky is an American linguist, philosopher, political activist, author, and lecturer. Beginning with his critique of the Vietnam War in the 1960s, Chomsky has become more widely known—especially internationally—for his media criticism and politics. He is generally considered to be a key intellectual figure within the left wing of United States politics. Chomsky is widely known for his political activism, and for his criticism of the foreign policy of the United States and other governments.

Camp X choose to emphasize Noam Chomskys vision on Democracy today on XLOG, because of his great impact to western culture and way of thinking. Often we have a lot of pre-understandings of certain themes. This post with Chomsky’s reflections on democracy is a prepartion to the opening of “In a State of Emergency”.
